Keith Krikorian vs Yuki Takahashi for the 155LBS Legends Title
The Okinawa Invitational is launching the Legends Series, a new platform built for super fights between the best grapplers in the world. Each match crowns a Legends title, and the first one is the 155lbs Legends Title. To open the series, we’re bringing in a matchup that stands above anything Okinawa has ever seen. Keith Krikorian vs Yuki Takahashi.
Keith enters this match after one of the strongest runs in modern jiu jitsu. Former Polaris champion, standout on UFC Fight Pass, and one of the most active competitors in the sub only scene. His pace, creativity, and ability to break people down over time have made him one of the most respected grapplers in the sport. Keith has been winning everywhere, and he’s bringing that momentum straight into Okinawa.
Yuki Takahashi arrives as the current EBI bantamweight champion. Known as Submission, he represents a relentless style built on pressure, aggression, and constant threats. Yuki doesn’t wait for openings. He forces reactions, overwhelms opponents, and pushes a pace that fits perfectly with the modified EBI ruleset.
This match brings two different approaches to finishing fights. Keith brings world class pace and technical depth. Yuki brings nonstop offense and a mindset built around hunting submissions from the first exchange to the last. Both have proven themselves under overtime pressure. Both have shown they can perform on big stages. Both understand what this match means for the start of the Legends Series.
